Entry Information
If the content is available for a UK audience, then you are eligible to enter. It doesn’t have to be produced or created in the UK, but available content thus international content makers are permitted to enter.
You can enter as many categories that you think are relevant for you (and the entry system allows you to duplicate entries).
How to Enter
As the content for each category will be different in its creative delivery, submission format for each category is unique. To read more about the required submission for the category/categories that you’re interested in, visit our categories page which breaks down submission criteria per award.

Entry Fees
There are two price bands for each entry in the awards:
Independent podcasters, author, filmmaker or charity organisation. To qualify, you must have an annual turnover of less than £100,000). If you feel that you qualify for this, please fill in this webform to receive your discount code.
- Advanced Rate: £95 per entry (until 31st October 2024)
- Standard Price: £125 per entry
- Closes 12th January 2025
Corporate (business entity or an independent with £100,000 annual turnover)
- Advanced Rate: £195 per entry (until 31st October 2024)
- Standard Price: £225 per entry
- Closes 12th January 2025
Fees are paid per entry, per category. You can make as many entries as you wish. Please note that as per our terms and conditions, all fees paid for entries are non-refundable.
JUDGING
We are looking for content that celebrate the best of the true crime industry, rewarding programmes that create high-quality content, consumed by the true crime community.
Judges will be asked to reward entries with an appreciation of the audience and medium and that do so consistently.
Judges will ask themselves: ‘would this sample content motivate me to listen to this podcast /read this book or watch this programme on a regular basis?’
Our panel will consist of industry leaders across Broadcast, Podcast, Media & Publishing. Details on who will be judging the awards this year will be announced soon.
Judges will be asked to evaluate the written text, supporting figures and all uploaded content. They will be asked to consider things like originality, production values, research, creativity, statistics & overall performance.
Conflict of Interest: No judges will be asked to score entries in any categories where there may be a conflict of interest.
